Based on his Timmins, Ontario rural roots, his backwoods humour is delivered with a polished style and impeccable timing. Derek is the only Canadian winner of the prestigious Vail International Comedy Competition, is a two time Gemini nominee and has been nominated five times as Best Standup Comic at the Canadian Comedy Awards.

Well, Redpath’s 50th Anniversary Celebration was a huge success! We take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance in arranging for Derek Edwards to entertain (understatement) us on Friday. Derek was over-the-top hilarious! Most of us were left with sore cheeks, sore bellies and with tears of laughter streaming down our faces during and after his comedic routine.
